Containing vitamin E, potassium, zinc, protein, magnesium and biotin, sweet almond oil will promote beard growth and excellent hair conditioning, whilst eliminating dandruff and reducing inflammation.
Grapeseed Oil
This rich and penetrating carrier oil has an abundance of vitamins and minerals, enabling it to lock in moisture, thus preventing the nemesis of the beardsman - unwelcome hair brittleness and unsightly beard frizzing.
Organic Argan Oil
Argan Oil in beard care provides two important benefits, adding shine and softness to your beard while moisturising the skin beneath. Argan oil has been used for centuries as a hair conditioner, helping to treat split ends and keep frizzy hair in check.
Jojoba Oil
This oil is thicker than most oils because it is actually a liquid plant wax. Jojoba oil is extremely close to our skin's natural oil that we wash away when bathing. It moisturises and softens the skin, treats skin disorders, prevents ageing and balances oil production in the skin.

The story of Brawny begins in a Sunderland barbershop. The friendship between our founders, Freddy, the barber, and Nick, the customer, serves as the inspiration. Over the 10+ years of casual barbershop chat, Nick’s business mind and Freddy’s 15 years of experience in hairdressing have combined to set free a dream of a collaborative business that makes the most of each founder’s skills.

It’s our goal to bring this knowledge to the skincare market and keep up with the core tenets of barbery. The barber is a problem solver, a trusted advisor who knows what’s best with just a minute’s conversation. It’s an expertise that goes beyond knowing how to cut hair and beards, but how to style them, maintain them, and keep them healthy. This knowledge, which is 15 years of dealing with all manner of hair and skin, is invaluable for a men’s skincare brand, providing a bank of knowledge of what men want for their skin and how it fits in with their broader style. Our products have been meticulously formulated with the customer in mind, from the smell to the texture to the ingredients. Known as Oud by Middle Eastern perfumers, the Agarwood scent is harvested from one of the most sought-after woods in the world. Because of its resin, often called “Liquid Gold,” Agarwood ranks, along with Pink Ivory and Ebony, as one of the most expensive natural raw materials available for harvest on Earth. Brawny has been sourcing Agarwood from India, where it was first used as a fragrance in 1400 BCE and has since retained cultural, religious, and medicinal significance. It has a complex and multifaceted smell, but our description is a strong vanilla woody scent with floral shades. Regarding skincare, the Oud oil derived from Agarwood is highly antioxidant and has a notable soothing and hydrating quality. It’s Brawny’s niche and the ingredient that sets us apart from the rest. The sophisticated smell simply cannot be matched by the current state of men’s skincare, which does not offer this depth of quality in ingredients.
